Showcase your music and get bookings with Busker

I just pre-registered for Busker with VIP status, and you can too. Just type the code DIYMUS into the “VIP code” field on their registration page.

“OK, great — but what’s Busker,” you’re probably asking.

Well, it’s a new live music video platform that gives musicians around the world the opportunity to showcase their live work, connect with new fans, and book concert dates. The site is in ramp-up mode right now with a full launch planned for this summer (but you can get a sneak peak HERE.)

The new home for live music online

Every musician can set up a profile to highlight their live videos.

Then, through a hands-on curation process, Busker will actively recommend the highest quality musicians and performances to their users (though users can still explore videos from the entire community). This collection of live music videos will be available on Busker’s site and app, and can be filtered by genre, location, artist, featured instruments, and more. 

Users’ ability to quickly find the kind of live music that appeals to them also enhances Busker’s second big feature: “Hire a Musician.” If they like your music, they can easily click to see your rates and availability.

If the user doesn’t know exactly which artist they’d like to perform (at their party, happy hour, wedding, small venue, Christmas event, trade show, office lunch, etc.), they can sort by genre and location, and Busker will send a shortlist of carefully selected suggestions within 48 hours.

“We believe in the power of music. Especially live music,” says founder Emma Toshack. “There’s a lot of content out there, but it’s a mess online. With Busker we want to make discovering and enjoying musicians and bands a great experience. We’ll curate quality content, all in one place, making it easy to follow, filter, manage, share and enjoy.”
