Stars and The Sea is a three piece rock band with post-punk influences from Baltimore, Maryland. Stars and The Sea was formed in 2008 by guitarist/vocalist Shane Gardner with later addition of drummer John Leatherman and Bassist Jen Pruitt.

Stars and The Sea’s influences are a mix of Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, Iggy Pop, Jeff Buckley The Church and AC/DC Their sound is described as a mix of post punk and British influenced Rock.
