Nominations for the Libera Awards Are Due by February 22nd

A2IM’s Libera Awards (aka The LIBBYs) are being held on June 25th in New York. The awards honor independent labels, artists, and distributors, and they are voted on by independents.

The deadline to submit nominations is Sunday, February 22nd. Categories include Groundbreaking Album of the Year, Label of the Year, Creative Packaging Award, and many more.

Last year Arcade Fire and The Arctic Monkeys won Album of the Year. Daptone Records and Glassnote Records won Label of the Year. Independent Ally of the Year went to NPR music.
